Learning beyond my labs
I attended BSides NYC in October 2026 to spend time in the cybersecurity community and hear perspectives beyond my own projects. It was an opportunity to connect topics from my studies with the approaches presenters shared.
Topics I explored
- Identity infrastructure: a session looking at signals such as reputation, recency, legitimacy, and context.
- Cloud-hosted honeypots: a session outlining a T-Pot deployment, network access rules, and reviewing captured activity.
